The Resort apparel industry “originally meant for wealthy customers or more seasoned jet-setters”(wikipedia) is the seasonal cruise and vacation clothing industry. Ironically I’m from Hawaii and have lived in both southern California and southern Florida. All of these locations represent resort apparel industry hotspots. The art shown here reflects tropical beach themes as well as outlying vacation destinations like Jeep Safari held in Moab, Utah. Another event shown is Cheyenne Frontier days which is one of the largest rodeos in the world held in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Also displayed are apparel designs for high school championship sports competitions.
